The VIOE [the Flemish Institute for Public Heritage] has appointed us to make a feasibility study for a historic military base in Asse-Zellik. The goal is to investigate the possibilities to house the research- and archive departments of the VIOE itself on site. In the forthcoming weeks we will develop and compare different scenarios in order to find a match between the needs of these departments with the existing buildings. Out of these scenarios we will distill a masterplan which will be optimized in regard to spatial quality, functionality and feasibility.
