18.04.2008 / Definitive design stage is well underway.

 

We are currently finalizing the definitive design stage of the housing project in Diest.

 

The project consists of two very different buildings. One is an existing warehouse that is being renovated into loft-apartments and enlarged with penthouse-floors. The other is a new freestanding building that houses compact apartments.

 

While the design for the existing warehouse emphasizes the latter’s' pure and minimal lines, the new building will be a massive brick block with subtle cuts and ruptures softening its otherwise sturdy looks.
