12 weeks ago PMV [ParticipatieMaatschappij Vlaanderen] appointed us to 'research-by-design' strategic development scenarios for this brownfield site bordering the river Schelde to the south ofAntwerp.

In this period we first developed a multitude of models thereby looking for a balance between spatial quality, sustainability and feasibility. During the second stage we researched two models in a more detailed manner, defining a set of strategic site-assets and spatial elements that will structure the final urban plan. As such our study provided vital input for the development of a business plan.
