23.02.2009 / HUB wins Open Oproep.

 

We are very proud to announce that the HUB-Idea Consult-Mint team won the Open Oproep procedure by the Vlaamse Bouwmeester for this masterplanning assignment. By carefully linking the urban texture of Merchtem to this massive industrial complex, we try on one hand to create a public base for the future development of the site, making sure on the other that the village itself will also benefit from this development. On a building-level, we investigated the spatial possibilities of the existing structure and came up with a program that suits the direct needs of Merchtem, again laying the basis for a stronger relationship between site and village.
