06.03.2009 / Building Permit Documents handed-in.
We have recently handed in the building permit documents for this development on the riverfront of Antwerp. In the following period we will start setting up the construction drawings. The project consists of an old warehouse that will be renovated and enlarged into commercial spaces, offices and housing; and a new building that organizes luxurious apartments on top of a commercial space. Both share underground parking infrastructure. While the warehouse is a typically introvert building, generically structured around a large and airy courtyard; the new building seeks for a playful balance between a sturdy materialization and a light and context-driven structure.
