13.04.2009 / The future Is clean.

 

LET-Zuid in Houthalen-Helchteren (B) is one of the "Limburgse Energie- en Technologieparken" that will be developed in the forthcoming years. LET-parks focus on housing innovative industries that are involved in Clean Technology.

After a tender procedure, the ARCADIS-HUB consortium was assigned to plan the reconversion of the existing industrial park Centrum-Zuid (surface area of 175ha) into a LET-Park. We will investigate the possibilities for Centrum-Zuid to become a European benchmark as a sustainable and environmentally efficient industrial area, while also designing the masterplan for future development.
