(21-01-2010) NEW PROJECT - Vlaams Bouwmeester

21.01.2010 / HUB appointed to perform study.

The Vlaams Bouwmeester has appointed a HUB-BOPRO-DLA consortium to study elements to success in maintaining a maximum level of architectural quality during DBFM (Design Build Finance Maintain) and PPP (Public Private Partnership) procedures. During this study we will interview key actors in Europe in order to find benchmarks and eventually be able to formulate best practices. We are very happy with this assignment since we are regularly involved in the initiation stage of DBFM- and PPP-procedures (through urban design and feasibility studies), as well as in the design stage (as architects we are involved in the actual development of 3 PPP-projects). This study gives us the opportunity to take some distance and look at the overall picture, learn, as well as share our insights and experience with a governmental body.
