(02-02-2010) FIRST PRIZE - Fire station Antwerp (B)

At the end of last year, we were invited by AG Vespa – a development company of the city of Antwerp – to participate in a competition for the make-over of a 50’s office building into a fire station. Our winning entry consist of a functional composition of stacked zones, leaving most of the building intact and creating an enfilade of dynamic and more intimate rooms. In the forthcoming months we will further develop the design, construction should start in spring 2011.
