21.05.2010 / Masterplan Delivered.

 

As of January HUB and Arcadis have been working on a feasibility study and masterplan for the reconversion of a heavily contaminated paper mill site into an industrial and office area. Today the Board of Directors of POM Vlaams Brabant (Provinciale Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij Vlaams Brabant) has approved our final report. The plan proposes 4 strategic elements for future development: the creation of a clear identity through the sustainable redevelopment of the historical buildings, enhancing the relationship with surrounding nature, organizing a public passage for pedestrians and bikes, and shared use of communal spaces between Catala and its neighbors.
