07.07.2010 / Selected for Open Oproep.

HUB has been selected for an Open Oproep of the Vlaams Bouwmeester regarding the design of a masterplan and buildings for the reconversion of the Regina Mundi site. Genk city council wants to develop this former school campus into a lively quarter that reinforces the city center with a program built around culture, media, education and housing. The actual competition phase is planned for the second half of 2010. Our fellow competitors are Maxwan (Nl), Maccreanor Lavington Architects (UK), De Gouden Liniaal (B) and Weysen & De Baere Architecten (B).
