HUB has won a competition (Open Oproep Vlaams Bouwmeester) for the design of a housing quarter for elderly people. The total project has a floor area of approximately 35.000 sq.m. and consists of a mix of communal spaces, care units, studios, apartments and houses for families. All are positioned in a semi-public park that ensures privacy and green city living on one hand, while providing access to neighboring schools on the other. We will develop the masterplan in the second half of 2010. Building design starts in 2011.
