(28-03-2011) PROJECT UPDATE - Cleantech Incubator

The building documentation and construction drawings for the refurbishment of a former mining building into a cleantech incubator have been delivered. The final design consists of a well-balanced mix of restorative actions – in the near future the building will be a listed monument – and contemporary and pragmatic elements in order to guarantee a clear distinction between the original structure and appearance of the building, and the present adjustments. The cleantech incubator will house individual office space next to communal amenities like a learning and meeting center, an exposition and lecture hall, and a restaurant. It is the starting point to the development of a cleantech campus and the transition of an existing SME-park into a sustainable Environmental Technology park. Construction of the incubator will start in summer.
