(21-06-2013) NEW PROJECT - Social Housing Expo, Deurne (B)

Selected for Final Round.

Woonhaven Social Housing Corporation has selected HUB, with Karres en Brands Landscape Architects and Bureau France as partners, for the final stage of a competition for the development of a new residential quarter. The brief consists of 134 housing units, underground parking infrastructure, public domain and landscaping. The project is a chance to create an inner-city ecosystem, carefully balancing built and unbuilt space in order to obtain a distinct collectiveness and a new centrality for the district of Deurne. Our fellow competitors are TV Omgeving – RE-ST – Witherford Watson Mann architects, TV WIT – KPW – Technum, TV Tom Thys Architecten – DHP – Buro Groen – ir. Ch. Lobelle, and TV Rapp+Rapp – Studio plus Architecten & TV Denis Dujardin – ARA.
