Selected for Final Round.

The University of Ghent has selected our team – consisting of HUB, ORIGIN, DAIDALOS Peutz, Bureau Bouwtechniek and RCR – for the final round of a design competition. The brief asks for the renovation and refurbishment of a historically valuable university building towards ‘Nearly Zero Energy Standard’.

The building, which was designed by J.-N. Cloquet and G. Magnel, during the Interbellum, sits at the heart of the University Quarter bordering a branch of the river Scheldt. It is meant to house Political and Social Sciences.
