We Win!

We are pleased to announce that we have won the competition – organized by AG Vespa and Building Today For Tomorrow, a private developer – for the development of the former Zillion Site in Antwerp (B).
The site makes the transition between the historic 19th century city belt – defined by a regular pattern of streets, squares and housing blocks – and the residential area ‘Nieuw Zuid’ – solitary slabs and towers in a parklike environment – whose development is currently underway. Our proposal – a hybrid ‘Grossform’ – draws its tectonic appearance from this transitory status, while nevertheless presenting itself as a clear and well-defined urban figure.
The program consists of housing, a hotel, offices, retail, a petrolstation and underground parking.
