Proud and extremely happy to announce that team Barcode, HUB, ABT and Karres en Brands has now been officially appointed by Rijksvastgoedbedrijf to undertake the sustainable renewal of the Palace of Justice in The Hague. We are honoured to work on such a prestigious commission together with the RVB and the users of the Palace.

The leading theme in our design and process approach is het Nieuwe Bouwen. Building with "what is available" in order to minimise CO2 emissions and societal lifecycle costs and maximise health, functionality and flexibility. Starting from the original design of the Palace with its cultural and material values, we bring in architectural and technical innovations to create a 21st-century building complex.
