Today we deliver the building documentation for ‘Kapitein Gilson’ in Aarschot. This mixed project forms the gateway to the city center and to the newly developed station area. The free-standing monolith is materialized as a solid concrete plinth with a skin-like roofing material on top. The cavities, that house the outdoor rooms to the apartments, are finished with more homey materials in order to be true extensions of the interior of the building. Sales are well underway, construction starts in the second half of 2011.
